Reverend Erika R Taylor, Pastor

Reverend Erika R Taylor is the pastor of Asbury Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located in Louisville, Kentucky. Reverend Taylor is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC) with over 17 years in ministry.

Reverend Taylor is a graduate of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with a degree of Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Social Work from Western Kentucky University.

Through her former pastoral appointments to churches in rural and urban areas, Reverend Taylor has a wealth of experience with people who love the Lord. Her vision for ministry is to increase the essential need of the local church in the lives of members and the local community. Every community without regard to the size of the population needs to have a loving church body within the physical reach of community residents. The mission of modern day ministry is to get beyond what makes people different and find what makes us the same.
